The Helsinki Distilling Company is bringing distilling back to Helsinki, after an absence of over a hundred years. They produce distillates of the highest quality and offer a full range of distilling experiences from hands-on production to tastings. All their products are hand-made from local high quality raw materials – with flair.
The first modern distillery in Helsinki was opened during the summer 2014 at the food cultural heart of Helsinki at Teurastamo, and now they have a bar, too!

– in october 2014 Tammi published this beautiful cookbook by spelt-entrepreneur Kari Kaipianen and nine well known Finnish chefs. In 2015 it came out in english too! I had the great pleasure of capturing every image for this book. (Books layout by Emmi Jormalainen!)
